The flesh, the eyes, the boastful pride of life

Lately, I’ve been looking to upgrade things: clothes, my computer & a new cell phone. I’m finding that techno-lust is exactly that: lust. It’s dissatisfaction with what I have now paired with the incorrigible belief that the next new thing will make me happy.

It is difficult to live simply! It is difficult to simply live. How do you cope?

Andrew, thanks for the comment a few days ago. Appreciated it, especially coming from a fellow designer!

I’ve linked you on the right in my list of links. Stay in touch man.

The upgrading is not the problem. The problem here is the condition of the heart. If in your heart of hearts you realize that this is not in line with what God would have you to do, then you do not do it. TYou see lust is a veryb strong term. Lust has in its inherent meaning that characterisitic that makes you so inwardly desirous of something because it will garnish you more than you originally bargained for. More women, more power, more glory, more recognition, more status and more o fthose that things that others have that I want. Then, I will ahev really made it! In a nutshell, what is in your heart. You know.
